now my name is neeraja and if i want to change my first name ,i want to put my name as 'sai' (indian god name).

She was the mother of the greek god Dionysos, the god of wine, whose father was (who else!)... Zeus. I just like the way it sounds. :)

I think all the above names must be too difficult for you to pronounce and I can allow you to select one of them so that the real meaning of my name will remain the same which my parents chose for me.

There is a reason in Hinduism to keep Lords name as in whole day parents, relatives and friends would be uttering your name number of times so this way at least they will chant god's name.

When I was in New York my colegues could not pronounce my name Shiva and so they wished to change my name to Shawn..ha ha and I never allowed them to change it. Rather I helped them to pronounce my name correctly.

My first name is Michael and I am quite happy with my name but if I had to change it. I may probably change it too... Joseph or Sean

YEARS ago I was visiting a friend in New Orleans. I told her that periodically throughout my life people had called me Lisa. [I was about 21 years old at the time] She just said "hummmm"... About an hour later her husband came home from work and introduced me to a co-worker. "Lonnie, this is Tina"... he said "for some reason I want to call you Lisa". It has happened many many times over the years. More than I can count. People that I have know for years suddenly call me Lisa. So maybe in a former life I was Lisa. During my single years if I met someone and just wanted to be "not rude" I would introduce myself as Lisa.

I was in a restaurant once and there was a girl in there that looked exactly like me..... I thought for sure her name would be Lisa. I got up the courage to go over and say "I really think we look alike" she agreed! So I said "Is your name by chance LISA?" She said.... NO "MY NAME IS TINA". So, there you have it!!! ha.
