is it normal to have a big differance in the right and left arm blood pressure

my bp was 169/90 in the left arm and 116/70 in the right

It isn't normal to have such a major difference between right and left arm blood pressure. If you have circulation problems on one side, this could account for the difference. But the important reading is the higher one, which is too high. You need to get advice on how to lower your blood pressure naturally, or perhaps you need to be on BP meds - ask your doctor!

a stroke to one side can cause difference in blood pressure. But if you didn't have a stroke, i agree with the first answer from mboutilier
