My DVD is suddenly and randomly turning itself on and ejecting the disc drawer!!
This just started last week. If my neighbor got a new cordless phone, could this have an affect??
I'm at a loss at what could be doing this!?! What kind of signal could do this?

Do you have your DVD plugged into a surge protector? It could be "noise" on the power in your house.
