I have 2 bushes that I cannot identify

I have pictures to help if needed. They are currently about 18-24 inches tall, and have alot of "dead" branches on them. One of the bushes has pink flowering on it, but most are browned already.

" Bushes " that would be my neighbours from hell. Anyway Mrs Bush just lost her job as a sargent cop for burglary, assault and unlawful damage. I've lived next to her for 5 years and she's given me hell , so what goes around comes around eh !.
