Sounds like your dog may have ear mites (also knowen as ear mange) it causes discomfort to your dog and he may shake and scratch at his ears and he may also tilt his head. look inside and it may be red and imflammed. you need to go and see a vet and ask them for some ear drops to put in his ears. you will need to do this about twice a day untill the symptoms are gone. very important you get a product to fix this as it really irritating to him. i hope this helps...

Are the ear flaps swollen, or inside the ears? If the flap of the ear is swollen, it could be a hematoma. The shaking can cause a blood vessel to break, and the ear flap can fill with blood. The shaking is usually caused by an ear infection. Either way i would take him to see a vet.
