I had an affair with a married man and I'm now pregnant, can his wife sue me?
Asked by: nwannenburg from -
I'm a month pregnant and the father of the child is married with two kids. When I contacted him today he confirmed that he is not allowed to talk to me anymore as his wife's lawyers are dealing with this matter from here forward.

What am I to do and can his wife take me to court? I have nothing. I'm under administration and battling to raise a three year old daughter on my own.

Don't worry too much about it! You didn't break any laws! He's the one who will be in trouble in court! That's why he can have no contact with you! If ever there was a legitimate reason to terminate a pregnancy, I think this is it, unless of course, it's against your religion! Uncomplicate your life, and take care of that little girl! You don't need this kind of stress, and neither does your child.

I believe that you should have the child and look after your children and yourself and not worry about this mans wife taking you to court. Court for what, because you had an affair. This happens all over the world we all can and do make mistakes but this is not the childs fault. A good word of advice, make sure you put the farthers name on the bubs birth cert.
