What does Jesus' act in pardoning of a woman caught for adultery imply?
Asked by: Trums49 from Manila, Philippines
In John 8:1-11, when Jesus went to the mount of Olives, the people (Scribes and Pharisees) came unto him, bringing a woman taken in adultery, placed her in their midst, where she was to be stoned according to the law of Moses, and asked him (Jesus) "what sayest thou?." Jesus said "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." The people being convicted by their conscience (being all sinners) left the place one after the other until they were seen no more. When Jesus and the woman were left alone, Jesus said unto her, "Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."

From my interpretation. We have all sinned, and we should not "throw stones" or make fun of, look down upon etc. upon others of whom have sinned as well. I think the biggest part is when Jesus says the the women, "Neither Do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." which is the way we should look at some crimes/sins.

I hope this is right, or makes it so you can interpret it better....

Your answer implies that a sinner cannot condemn his/her fellow sinner. It also implies that even our Lord Jesus cannot condemn a sinner, but has the power to forgive sins. Congrats for the lone and best answer!
