Ideas For "Twisted" Drawings

I asked my friend to draw the bad kids from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for me and I need some ideas for settings. She's going to draw them older so I want the mood to be either creepy, weird or macabre.I REALLY need some excellent ideas so feel free to be over creative!!

They should be standing in the mouth of a giant beast with yellow fangs and red drool dripping from the corners of his mouth, and red eyes with gold flecks, and a nose with a spider in one nostril. His scaley greenish black head should have a cobra circling it with its' head above one of the beast's pointed ears looking down at the characters, forked tongue jutting out and venom dripping from its' mouth! I just scared myself! Now, I'll have nightmares!...
