Does employer have to pay for the service of tourguiding if there were complains
|
I went on a 7-day tour as a tourguide with group of Germans. When it came to the wages, I got a note from my employer, that there were complains about me and that she is not going to pay me for the services as I gave a poor performance. My employer knew I was not ready for the tour and it was my first time, and on the top of that, I did not know the places I was going to, as I have never been there. I wanted to resign but she persuaded me to take it back and do it. She never mentioned, in case of complaint , I would not get paid for the tour i did. I do not have any contract with her.

I think you were used! No contract, no money and there's not a heck of a lot you can do! You could go to small claims court, but without a contract you may have a problem proving your case! This situation is not fair to you, I realize that, but I bet you won't be doing other jobs in the future without a contract (read the fine print)!
