facing academic dismissal from law school
Asked by: mag4085 from -
I did poorly on exams during my 1st semester of law school, voluntarily met with a counselor on campus, various changes made with my approach and did well my 2nd semester. I was advised I would be retaking one class this fall to make up a failing grade from 1st semester. Just rec'd letter advising I've been academically dismissed with the right to appeal within next 10 days.

Is it recomended I handle on my own or obtain representation? Any suggestions on the process or sites where I may obtain information as an aid in the process? Tks.
