A shark, Carcharias morricei, and a sperm whale, Aulephyseter morricei.
Named in honor of Charles Morrice:
A major highlight of the museum excavations was the discovery of an almost fully intact skeleton of the extinct sea lion, Allodesmus. Since articulated remains of marine mammals are extremely rare in the bone-bearing zone, such a complete specimen ranks as one of the most important finds in the history of explorations at Sharktooth Hill.
