Do Nonprofit Officers finish 2 yr terms if by-laws changed to 1 yr.during term?
Asked by: marileemcryan from -
The four Officers of a Non Profit were elected to 2 year terms at their Annual Meeting in July 07. January 08 the by-laws were changed stating a term would be one year. Do the elected officers serve for the 2 years as by-laws stated at time of their election, or will their term be up at the next Annual Meeting in July 08 and will have to be nominated/elected again for one year term?
