How do you remove carburetors from a 1984 Honda V65 Sabre?

I have a detailed repair and parts book for the bike above and spent some time unscrewing, unhooking and disconnecting the parts from the carburetor as per the directions. The last directions were to loosen up the clamps on the two front and two rear rubber seals to remove the carburetor. It only seems to move a cm with effort but not enough to be able to move all 4 carbs off the bike. Any directon or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

I really don't know since I'm not a mechanic. Since you have the book, I suggest that contact the manufactor by looking for their website. Then contact the customer service department.
