What it I is after is a supplyment that has the highest yield of protein (looking for above 60%) per shake with the lowest amout of refined carbohydrates & fat.

For a bodybuilding diet we need to make sure that we select foods that help us to repair and grow from the workouts that we perform while at the same time fostering either a fat burning or a muscle gaining environment.
A great bodybuilding diet, in my opinion, is a balanced diet consisting of 40% carbs, 40% proteins, and 20% Good Fats.
Carbohydrates are the body's main source of energy, come mainly from complex slow releasing sources such as oatmeal, grits, brown rice, sweat potatoes in combination with fibrous sources such as green beans and broccoli.

Proteins, the building blocks for all tissues in the body, should come from chicken, turkey, tuna, and lean red meats.

Fats, mainly come from monounsaturated and polyunsaturated sources. Canned extra virgin olive oil and flax seed oil should be the main sources of these.

check the above website for one sample body building diet.
You can also drink plenty of water and drinks like Gatorade which supplement electrolytes and fresh fruits and vegetables and lettuce in salads.
Take one tablet of multi vitamin which contains vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Lose Bodyfat And Gain Muscle With A Good Bodybuilding Diet
A good bodybuilding diet and nutrition are key components that will determine how successful you are in your bodybuilding program. Training without proper nutrition is like rowing against the current. At best, you would remain on the same place or even move forward a little bit, but in the end, you get nowhere.

A Definition of Diet
Usually people associate the word diet with days of starvation and pain. However that is not the correct definition of a diet. The word diet refers to the food choices that we make on a daily basis. Even if you don’t think you that you are on a diet, guess what?! You already are following a diet. Whether you eat candy all day everyday, or oatmeal, that is your diet.

You Don't Have to Starve When You Diet
A good bodybuilding diet needs to follow 3 rules:

It should favor smaller and frequent feedings throughout the day instead of smaller ones.
Every meal should have carbohydrates, protein and fat in the correct ratios: 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20 % good fats.
The calories should be cycled to prevent the metabolism from getting used to a certain caloric level.
While my article on Bodybuilding Nutrition Basics further elaborates on the reasons why the rules above need to be followed, in addition to a discussion on carbohydrates, proteins and fats, I'll move now to present you with two examples of good bodybuilding diets.

Sample Bodybuilding Diet For Men

Meal 1 (7 AM)
1 cup of dry oats mixed with water
1 cup of egg beaters

Meal 2 (9 AM)
Meal replacement packet like Prolab's Lean Mass Complex (which has a 40/40/20 nutrient ratio) mixed with water or a protein powder (with around 40 grams of protein) mixed with 40 grams of carbs from cream of rice, grits, or oatmeal.
1 Tablespoon of Flaxseed Oil (Spectrum brand is best)

Meal 3 (12 Noon)
1 cup of brown rice, or medium sized baked potato, or 1 cup of oatmeal
2 cups of green beans, broccoli or any other desired vegetable
6-8 ounces of chicken, turkey, or lean fish

Meal 4 (3 PM)
Same as Meal 2

Meal 5 (6 PM)
1 cup of brown rice, or medium sized baked potato, or 1 cup of oatmeal
2 cups of green beans, broccoli or any other desired vegetable
6-8 ounces of chicken, turkey, or lean fish

Meal 6 (8 PM)
Same as Meal 2

Recommended Basic Bodybuilding Supplements For Men
(Essential to take)

Definitely make sure that you cover at least the basics of supplementation which are a Multiple Vitamin and Mineral formula, 3 grams of Vitamin C split in 3 equal servings throughout the day, 200mcg of Chromium Picolinate, and essential fatty acids coming from either fish oils, flaxseed oil or extra virgin olive oil. Also, for convenience purposes a good meal replacement or protein powder is a great way to add valuable calories and nutrients to your diet. For more information on this subject please refer to my article on Bodybuilding Supplementation Basics.

Note: For recipes on protein shakes and protein bars, please visit the Healthy Bodybuilding Recipes page.

Performance Enhancing Supplementation
(Recommended for hard training bodybuilders who want to get the most out of their program}

In addition to those basic supplements, I would also recommend Creatine (please refer to my Creatine Basics article) and Glutamine (please refer to my Glutamine Basics article) as these two supplements offer many of the same properties as anabolic steroids (such as increased recovery, increased strength, increased glycogen levels, enhanced immune system and higher nitrogen synthesis) without the side effects as they are not hormones.

Testosterone Boosting Supplementation
(Optional)

Also, if you are training hard and are a male over 25 years old, assuming that your budget allows for it, I would recommend some natural testosterone boosters like the ones I talk about in my Testosterone Boosting Supplements article.

Bonus: Bodybuilding Supplements To Aid Fat Burning
(Optional)

Are there any bodybuilding supplements that can help a bodybuilder burn fat? If the advice provided above is not followed, then no supplements that you take may help you in your quest for burning fat. However, assuming that you are following all of the advice provided above, there are a few supplement stacks that may indeed improve your metabolism and help you in your quest for better definition.

DIET RIGHT
Take your fat-loss efforts to the next level with these four advanced techniques from the pros It sounds simple — eat less fat and carbs, and you’ll get lean. But that can’t be the whole story, can it? Obviously not — otherwise a lot more of us would be ripped. To reveal the secrets of getting shredded, we went to five people who do it for a living: top bodybuilders and fitness pros. Here’s what they had to say.

#1. INCORPORATE HIGH-CARB AND LOW-CARB DAYS
Sure, reducing calories by cutting back on carbohydrates is helpful in shedding bodyfat. But eating too few carbs can backfire, decreasing your energy and even your metabolism. So how do pros limit carbs without the energy slump?
Arnold Classic champion Jay Cutler sometimes uses the low- to high-carb approach. “I might keep my carbs between 200 and 300 grams a day for a few consecutive days,” he says. “When I notice my muscles shrinking or I’m not getting any leaner, I’ll double my carb intake for a day or two and eat 500–700 grams a day.”
Jay knows many dieters might baulk at such an increase. “Eating fewer carbs helps a bodybuilder get cut, but you need them to train and maintain your muscle,” he explains. “So incorporating a high-carb day once every 4–6 days allows you to train as hard as you can while on a reduced-calorie diet.” He considers 1 gram of carbohydrate per pound of bodyweight to be low and 2–3 grams to be high. Therefore, a 180-pound man might eat 180 grams daily for 4–6 consecutive days, then follow with a single high-carb day yielding 360–540 grams. Pro fitness competitor Kelly Ryan diets hard 4–5 days a week, eating only 130 grams of carbohydrates a day. “I can actually see more contours and definition on those days,” she says. She then takes in a high amount of carbs over the weekend. “This boosts your energy and helps you get leaner faster than eating low-carb all the time.” Kelly eats 5–6 smaller meals a day, and recommends eating a large portion of carbs at four of those meals every Saturday and Sunday. “I’ll eat anything — a bagel, pasta or fat-free ice cream,” she adds. “I’m right back on my strict diet on Monday.”

#2. EAT LOW-GLYCAEMIC CARBS BEFORE TRAINING
Slow-burning carbs, also referred to as low-glycaemic carbs, can help maximise fat loss. According to pro fitness competitor Beth Horn, “Low-glycaemic carbs make you feel full longer, so you eat less.” Gram for gram, they elicit less of an insulin response than many other carbohydrates. (See “Slow Burn”.) Insulin, the storage hormone released in response to eating carbohydrates, can impede the mobilisation of fatty acids from fat cells. Many pros like Beth believe that if you eat low-glycaemic carbs before training, insulin levels remain low, encouraging the body to burn a bit more bodyfat as fuel. “ I think eating low-glycaemic carbs before training can help people get better results, especially those who have a hard time losing bodyfat,” she says. Her favourite preworkout meal is porridge with fat-free cottage cheese and a non-nutritive sweetener such as Equal. Nutrition Systems is at the forefront of the nutrition and sports supplement industry. Innovators in the Australasian market, Nutrition Systems are committed to importing and distributing the highest quality cutting-edge nutritional products and providing a more than adequate level of customer service.

#3. EAT HIGH-GLYCAEMIC CARBS AFTER TRAINING
High-glycaemic carbs are typically refined, meaning they’ve undergone some type of processing, and they create a larger insulin surge than unrefined varieties. Bagels, mashed potatoes, white rice, muffins, biscuits and cold cereals are all high-glycaemic. While these foods don’t sound like diet foods, IFBB pro bodybuilder Milos Sarcev swears they’re one of his dietary secrets. “Refined carbohydrates are the ideal post-training carb because they cause an insulin surge that reverses the catabolic state associated with training,” he explains. High-glycaemic carbs help halt potential muscle loss, and holding onto muscle will keep your metabolic rate elevated. This type of carb also helps the body quickly enter an anabolic state by carrying amino acids into muscle.

#4. EAT MORE PROTEIN WHEN DIETING
When you drop your calorific intake by trimming excess fat and eating fewer carbohydrates, your need for protein increases. Protein helps prevent a loss in muscle mass, which, in turn, keeps your metabolic rate elevated. “I eat more protein when I’m dieting than when I’m in a bulking stage,” remarks perennial Mr. Olympia finalist Shawn Ray. Though Shawn eats low-fat, he believes there’s a benefit to eating red meat while dieting. “Of my six meals a day, I eat extra-lean minced beef at 1–2 of those meals as my source of protein,” he says. Red meat contains creatine, which helps Shawn stay strong precontest. It’s also high in zinc and iron, which may better enhance recovery than sticking exclusively to poultry, fish and egg whites for protein.
The secret here is to start with the golden rule of 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight and add 50–70 grams of protein more when dieting. This can be achieved with a single meal-replacement shake (made with protein and carbohydrate) consumed after you train or by slightly increasing your protein portion sizes at each of your 5–6 daily meals.
