my 14 year old son has been suspended from school for 5 days, while they decide if they are going to permentaly exclude him, there was an incedent in school where some pupils were smoking canibis, my son has been named as one of them, although i believe he was friends with these older boys i really believe he didnt have anything to do with it, but the school have sent me a letter saying after talking to the other boys they believe that my son not only smoked but supplied the drugs. he did have a witness to back him up so he sent a text message to one asking him if he could tell the teacher that he seen the other boy with the drugs, they have kept his phone as they say it was evidence that he tried to get the other witness to lie for him, i'm not looking through rose tinted glasses here but i know he didnt supply any drugs, my friend has said what they have written is slander and liable, i dont want to inflame the situation anymore but i want to fight in his corner,i also informed them that one witness is a parent to another pupil but they havent even spoken to her, i really dont know what i should do please please do you have any advice should i get a solisitor involved ?? i live in England uk

I suggest you tell the principal that if they don't listen to your child, you will not hesitate to get a solicitor. Tell them to give you a chance to let your child explain himself. Hope this helps you!
