Suggestions:
You could do a bit more of a blog and add a few sites to make money. A longer page doesn't hurt.

I think you have tried your best to get more traffic through Askpedia but this is not the right place to get more traffic and clicks on your website.

Usually black background is supposed to consume less electricity but still it causes a bit of stress on eyes so I would advice to keep a light background.

I would advice you to keep comment option on your website which are visible on the same page if you really intend to make it a successful blog.

And the result is enormous, whenever someone searches that website you've left message on, your site appears on the results shown by search engines as well! And because of the nature of blogs, people keep on tagging and copying and making refernces to other blogs, the message of your site will spread fast. Try commenting on other blogs.

Join blog rings get subscriptions of other sites so to make friends with other bloggers to establish relations cos bloggers tend to help promote each other's site as well.
Spend one or two hours a week reading blogs, use google's service and use rss to read all the blogs you like in one go- so you can decide which one you think you can make good comments on. DO the commenting with intensive focus and intelligence. People who read your comments might get attracted to read your blogs afterall.
Lastly, get a picture. People tend to read blogs and revisit the blog is they see the picture of the blogger so faces are easier to remember than words. Get a catchy name for your blog too, that helps too.
