The LG VX8300, the company's third EV-DO cell phone for Verizon Wireless, aims to improve on some of the drawbacks that saddled the previous VX8100. And for the most part, it succeeds. Packaged in a similar design and offering a comparable range of high-end features as its predecessor, the LG VX8300 provides improved functionality and slightly better performance. As is typical with Verizon, features such as Bluetooth are limited in scope, though we were glad to see support for e-mail this time around.

Ok, this latest one doesn't have turrets or missile launchers, but Toshiba's new line of transforming cellphones are still cool, in a very geeky kind of way.

Note that these are real, working phones. They're flip phones by day, crimefighting war machines at night. Ok, maybe not the war machine part. But you can fight crime with them by, er... calling 911 when you see a robbery in progress *cue Justice League theme*.

The phones - the Toshiba Softbank 815T PB - have a QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and is 3G ready. It comes complete with the tiny-fists/surprised-robot-look ensemble. They'll be released late April in Japan, but no news on whether they'll be available in other areas.

For a basic charge of $1. per day, to a maximum of $15. pr mth, I can call as many people, as many times as I like, and never pay over the $15. maximum payment. If you do not use the 10-4 that day you do not pay the $1. depending on your service. 10, 20, 50, 100 calls a day for 30 days and only $15. max. My entire family (immediate and external) and my workplace all have this cellular option, so that at the touch of a button we can be in contact with each other instantly. It might not be the flashiest or hippist of all flip phones, but as a work horse with all the modern options available today I do not think other phones can compare. This phone is also available from Bell Mobility.

The best phone out there in the market I would say is the HTC Tytan II, it will give you everything you want plus more ... However if that is too big for you Nokia is always the safest bet, the E65 is currently one of their better models.

motorolas sell alot of flips

Cingular has the lg rumor which isnt a flip phone but a slide phone. It's got numbers and a screen on top and then a full keyboard slides out of the side of ! Google it

The best flip phone out there in the market at present is LG LX5550(Fusic). Its design is manly and its features are interesting which pays more than its price. Nokia6102 is also better and good as far as designs and quality is concerned. You can see both the cells and decide for yourself. My idea is to get the best and never compromise on quality.
