somone help me with vista i cant open games it says app crash what do i do???

i already have changed dep many times and have changed alot of settings to lover the error rate of windows vista but its still loaded full i hate it so much and the help doesnt help at all because they havnt put updates for all the errors yet

ok yes im quite aware that vista sucks and everything is compatible with vista if u change the files computability by goin to properties and setting which version of windows u want to run it in.my laptop is like brand new and i know the ram is in mint condition i have 4GB standard ram and another 2GB turbo ram

It depends on what error you're getting - I would go to Windows Help and support and search what you think the error might be caused from.. They also have suggestions for changing folder views and behavior. That might be a good starting place.

uninstall any uneeded software and programs, deltet anything you dont need or want, defragment the hard drive, get rid of anything that that is older than a few years as this would inhibit vista, if the games are old they might not work on vista, right click and say run as admin

Well if it's Vista you can play games through Windows Media Center i am not sure if you found it already but it's kinda cool. If you want i can tell you how to find but i bet you already did, well anyway if it still doesn't let you play you should check your virus protection you might have one. you can get some for free or get a free trial i am currently using windows live one care it is really good!! it can help you get rid of viruses or use a virus remover from the web. also check your spyware they can also cause this...

what i did was to do a cleanup it takes 2 hours but it really helps it puts your computer like you got it when you bought it

if you want games on your computer than make sure on the box it says vista compatible

Yours is a common problem with vista users. Using the online settings can help you as this has been updated with pretty much every error, good luck

i would suggest just downgrading to xp vista has way to many problems to fix
