IF I WAS IN PRISON 12 TEARS AGO,CAN I RECEIVE FINANCIAL AID FOR COLLEGE CLASSES?

I HAVE BEEN IN COLLEGE FOR 2 YEARS NOW AND,I HAVE COMPLETED 2 INDUSTRIAL/TECH.CERTIFICATES.I FEAR THAT IF MY PAST EVER COMES UP IT WILL HURT MY FINANCIAL AID STATUS.

That is not your worry. Your worry is getting a job after school. Be sure and disclose your record to potential employers. It might cost you some jobs, but when you do find one, you will be secure. The consequences can be severe if you do not disclose it.
