car parking fine

i was parked at a blockbuster and kfc car park.i firstly went into blockbusters for a couple of films and after that i went to the kentucky as i do every week but it was late at opening so i waited in the car.about half an hour passed and the supervisor opened up.two weeks after i get a parking ticket for £150 as they say i was in the parking area by 15 minutes over the 70 minute stay.any ideas on my legal rights.

Take it to court and plead not guilty, this will require them to provide proof since there apparently was not an officer on scene. More than likely the shop owner or manager will not show up for court because its really not worth their time and the charges will be dropped. In the meantime I would no longer patronize that blockbuster and I would write a letter to their corporate office explaining your situation, frustration and disappointment in blockbuster....
