there is one very big shot in every bottle. i know that for a fact cos i measured it.

One fifth = 25.6 ounces.
One shot = 1.5 ounces. Unless you are chintzy.

You get a little more that 16 shots per fifth.

Buy your liquor by this guide and mix your drinks like you should. You will have a better party and happier guests....

Surely that depends on, firstly what size bottle you've got, and secondly, what the standard shot measure is for that particular liquor. I know in the UK some are sold in 35ml as a standard shot, others 25ml.
