Personally, I recommend using avast too.
Also, I use "Speed Up my PC" "Registry Booster" and "Spy Eraser" to keep my PC running smoothly, along with "SpyBot Search and Destroy"

Hi ANG3L - try Kaspersky. Other anti-virus's work on the basis of a update list of the latest virus's out there, so the longer the list gets the slower your machine becomes in identifying them. Alot of them also monitor all processes that occur in our system, not just the ones that have been triggered by outside events, such as websites and downloads. Kaspersky is different, its fast light and very secure and above all, the basic version is free forever....
