What are some reasons people DON'T believe in God?
People deny God on the basis of convenience; if there is no God than there is no such thing as truth or as moral laws. A persons denial of God allows them to do whatever they want. People don't want to be accountable for what they do.
They believe that the evidence most strongly supports a view that God does not exist. This has nothing to do with mocking God, in fact atheists seem to be more tolerant of Christians than many Christians are of atheists. Some people don't believe in God is mainly because of all the inconsistencies and falsehoods perceived in religious scriptures. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers. They are not satisfied with what God has provided. If someone is raised in a household where God is never discussed or mentioned, it can be very hard to suddenly accept a new way of thinking, no matter who you are. Also, Religion is based on Faith, which is not a material object.

Usually, education/upbringing has a big influence. A lot of people just don't ask themselves the question. They just live their lives and check the box for "christian" or so.

At the end of the day it was written by someone...THEY decided what to write.
If there was a god and he wanted us to believe, he would MAKE us believe.

1. Death and destruction of the ones that have not done anything wrong (young children and babies)
2. The Earth is far older than the few thousand years some religions belive it is.
3. "So called minsters" using religion to get rich and cheat people out of their money or not practicing what they preach, AND/OR even murdering people. Examples Jim Baker, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Jones, Oral Roberts and his son, just to name a few.

There are many more reasons why NOT to believe in God.

I believe in God. Sometimes, however we plan things or organize our lives, we do end up in with another thing. It's as if a supreme being is controlling us. Making sure that everything falls into place.
Also, there is a need for us to have a supreme being otherwise we will all end up acting like one, resulting in destruction and chaos. Just browse through history and you will see my point.

There are many reasons people believe in god ,some of them belive in him because the bible tells of his doings and others believe in him only in times of crisis like the twin tower issue, and others just believe in him because it is in our nature( to adore something ) but some's instincts are almost gone
