Urachal cancer is a rare form of bladder cancer. The urachus is an embryonic structure located between dome of the bladder and the umbilicus and urachal cancer can occur at any site along the urachal tract. The most common locations are the umbilicus and the dome of the bladder. Urachal cancer was first described in 1863 by Hue and Jaequin.
The urachus is a tube which joins the belly button to the top of the bladder....

Thank you very much. The reason I ask is that I am doing a benefit for a neighbor with terminal urachal cancer. A foundation I know of will only donate to blood cancers. I thought with the umbilicus being involved, possibly there could be a correlation to a blood cancer. Thank you for your time.
