Highly filling, but low calorie snack

As much as I love them, I am getting tired of the baby carrots. I am on a weight reduction diet and am looking for filling foods that are very low in calories. I guess I mean filling or at least satisfying. I seem to just want to eat all the time. I am not terribly hungry all the time, but I still want to snack a lot. In addition to that, my physician recommended no less than 50 calories every 4 hours to keep my metabolism up. For me, snacks are better than tiny meals.
I looked in the archives and this subject hasn't been really addressed. There are a couple of general snack questions with a total of 5 answers I could find. I guess it is time to post again.
I also know of air-popped corn. I like that, too, but am looking for alternatives.
