What constitute proof of higher learning in our students? How can these proofs be achieved?

In my own opinion, I feel that what constitutes froof of higher learning in our students, will be the demonstration and drive a student will have for a specific area of study. Does this mean that they will make a living, right out of the gate in the area of study…
