All addictions are related, so there is no one that is harder or easier to overcome. If you are truly addicted to something, it is never an easy journey to overcome it. That is the polite way to put it because if you have ever seen anyone in withdrawl from ANY addiction you would know that they are all suffering equally. Anyway, providing you do overcome that addiction you will always be vulnerable to any kind of addiction be it booze, drugs, sex, shopping, gambling, etc. It is the nature of it, if you have an addictive...

Its widely documented which drugs are the hardest to overcome. I believe at the moment its Crystal Meth. That stuff destroys life. The rest of the things you mention are childs play in comparison.

Addiction to Oxycontin is the most difficult to overcome.
Smoking has sometimes been said to be the most difficult.
The jokers will tell you that breathing is the hardest. How dare you use air that someone else could have used.

Believe it or not, it is nicotine.. harder than heroin! There are varying degrees of physical and psychological addiction - all drugs (legal and illegal) have different withdrawal symptoms and length of detox time, but I think while ever we can go to the corner shop and buy cigarettes they will always be the hardest to kick..

I am trying to over come smoking, drugs and drink all at the same time and I have found that they all tie together. You have to change your lifestyle to change your life. Good luck to all.
