Or go the natural route, everytime you feel like yelling at her just think of how she looks when she cries. Then always keep that memory in your head. You're right...if you keep taking out your stress and anger on her then you don't have much of a future with this girl. Next time you begin to yell, take a step back and think of what the ultimate consequences of yelling are, both short and long term. The short term consequences would be both of you will be upset, you probably aren't getting any that night, and she goes to bed angry at you. Some long term ones would be a bad marriage where you're constantly fighting with each other, and/or she'll leave you. So next time...

Find a release.
This is likely being driven by high stress. You need a release for getting your stress out, and right now that release is yelling at your girlfriend. You could try working out after work...running, lifting, whatever. You could also try going to a bar or something with some friends after work and shoot some pool or something like that. Another thing you could do is pick up boxing or some other martial art...kickboxing, ju jitsu, krav maga, MMA, etc. Personally, I do all of those. I'm in the gym every day but Sunday, I go out with my friends a lot, and I do Krav Maga and Ju Jitsu 3 days a week, and I usually go home feeling alright. Just don't find another negative release like drinking.

well it's not good that you yell...it's good you wanna stop. do you just whip out at her or is it like you get in a fight and yell...either way i bet she's just trying to help you have a better day, i mean, you are engaged, that means she loves you a lot too. Just try to relax more.

If it is just directing towards your girlfriend, then you most likely have issues with her that you need to deal with. Are you even sure that you want to be tied down in this relationship? I would seriously consider your feelings for her.

If you yell at everyone, then you definitely need to do a reality check. Again, you have issues that need to be dealt with.

Yelling at people can go much deeper than just having a bad day. It can reflect insecurity, instability, fear, etc.

Reevaluate your lifestyle and make changes. If you have been violent, then definintely seek counseling.

If you look at the situation, you wasted probably 25 cents in milk and you will spend 2 minutes cleaning it up. This is actually a one or a two in terms of stress. You just have to learn to recognize it and react in a way that is fitting for the situation. Stress is all internal. There are many people who can keep their cool under extremely stressful situations. You just have to realize that you are no different than these people, you just have to learn to control yourself and not be a Negative Nancy.

And now days, you don't see that commitment, act or dedication from many guys or girls.
What you need to do, as a good person, good boyfriend, good fiance,and future husband, it to target what makes you angry and shout.
You stated in your question is that you have a bad day.
Sure, we're gonna have bad days, there is not doubt about that.
But yelling at your girl ain't gonna fix it, and I bet you feel like crap after it, don't you?
There is no quick fix, it require the same amount of commitment, dedication and love for your girlfriend to not shout at her after a bad day or when you get angry.
Find the things that make/give you a bad day, do something with her that you enjoy, chill out and watch a DVD/movie, workout together, just listen to music; basically, whatever it takes so that at the end of the day, the thought of shouting her will seem impossible.
You just gotta work at it :-)
