80th milestone birthday party

Would it be appropriate to have a wine toast to me on this birthday? My son wants to do this and I think I will be embarrased by it.

I think that if your son thinks highly enough of you to toast you on your 80 th then congrats! Go with the fun . you are 80 . Surely you have been through 'embarrassing' events before. Have the poise and gratiousness to revel and be merry . Your son loves you enough. Give him the gift of this memory. While you still can.
