Blood Transfusions

I am currently and have been for two years receiving blood transfusions for MDS - pre -leukemia - I have had three treatments to help reduce my blood loss with no results - I am receiving the transfusions- 2 units every two weeks- do i have the legal right to refuse getting any more transfusions?

Yes of course, you should look for a "No Blood" hospital in your area, If you can't find one, Try looking for a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. They have all information about no blood procedures. There are surgery procedures going on every day without any blood transfusions involved. Using blood is the easy way out, if a doc insists on using blood, then he is not a very good doc and he is making less money. By using other methods. And anyway, blood carries with it risk of many incurable diseases...
