at L5-S1 a moderate size tear of the annulus centrally, what does this mean

My doctor gave me photocopies without explaination. I had an MRI but don't understand all of my results. Any help would be wonderful, as i'm not really good with computers and don't know where to look. Have heard great things about help recieved from this site. Thank you, Stacy

i guess it would be a lower disk in your lower back
