The best suggestion I have for you is to hire a private investigator (found in telephone books) to locate them. Normally I would suggest an online agency that locates missing people but these are only good for people who have been gone for months or years.

If they have friends ( a refuge) in GA it makes it harder to find them. Call any numbers of people they know in this area repeatedly. People tend to not want to take in people who will cause conflict in their life...phone calls, threats of legal action, whatever you have to do..Make the calls at different times of the day and from different lines so they can't block a certain number.
Call the major hospitals - Grady, Northside, Emory and Egleston. Call once each day to see if the children have been dropped off there. Leave a contact number.
If you need any other assistance, just let me know ..Anything I can do"

Here's another recommendation from my cousin in Columbia, South Carolina

Try an online "Skip Tracing Service". Yes, It will cost you but it might give you more answers. If you try a Skip Tracer give them the names of all adults and children and any other info such as SS# if you have them. Or you could try a traditional Private Detective and let them find what they can. You might be surprised at how well they can be tracked. Every time they get a utility (cable,electric, phone) they leave some trace that a good PI can use in tracking them.

My Ex-wife tried to do a vanishing act with daughter and I used a PI that told me about the Skip Tracing companies. My daughter now lives with me.

It is really sad to know your story. The best way to track your grandchildren is to hire a private investigator and give him all the details of your ex- daughter in law and the kids along with their photos.

If these children are legally in their custody you will need to be sure the children are willing to go along with you or that you have sufficient proof. You can call the local Child Protection Agency and let them know they are unfit parents.

I would go to the Police and see if i could put and apv on them and if not then go to Ministry of Children and Familys depending on where you live and file that they are unfil. Prove that they are unfit in court and fight for custody to get the kids from them.

I used them when I searched for my birth father. it took them a little while because of the lack of info I had but eventually they found him, and we lived happily ever after. So call the Salvation Army, they were absolutely wonderful and it didnt cost me anything.

Dont waste your time calling DSS, you can also inform CPS, child protective services. They can answer a lot of question for you too. If you know where they are, your gonna have to file for custody of the children and in an emergency screening, Im sure any judge would grant you temp custody, if your a relative as long as your not an alcholic or drug user. It would be relativly easy for you to do this and it would probably be quick. These children are in danger and the courts will see that and hand them over to you pretty quickly. Also check out family court near you, they have tons of free info regarding your excact situation that could really help your cause, they even offer free workshops that show you exactly what to do, where to go and how to do it. So prepare to become a very proactive person, your gonna be a very busy individual for the next year or so. Good luck and please ask if you have any other questions. Now go get those beautiful children and save them from a life of hell!Dont waste your money on a private investagator. Unless you have tons of money. Again the Salvation Army does the same as a PI but better and its free. But you MUST get down to family court and begin the legal process, nothing and I mean NOTHING will happen unless thats done first.
