You dont say what type of biz you have, nor do you tell us your operating expenses, payroll, tax, supply info and expenses.

You dont say what type of biz you have, nor do you tell us your operating expenses, payroll, tax, supply info and expenses.

A business could have annual gross sales of 1 mil, but could have operating expenses of 1.1 million; thus; you are at a loss, and your business would not be worth much.

Then again, your business could be grossing 1 mil in sales and have a low operating expense, but PRODUCT cost is high....

There are just so many factors, that I dont believe that your question could be answered correctly.

Maybe even a $$$ monetary reward would help!

It is a lot easies to place a value based on net profit. Gross would need interpreting along the following lines.
There would be a value based on the market share the $1,000,000 represents in the particular industry.
The next thing to do is take standard values for the particular industry.
Lets say service industry. Your profit may well be 40%. A reasonable value...

It is a lot easies to place a value based on net profit. Gross would need interpreting along the following lines.
There would be a value based on the market share the $1,000,000 represents in the particular industry.
The next thing to do is take standard values for the particular industry.
Lets say service industry. Your profit may well be 40%. A reasonable value might be 10 times earnings, so the value would be $4,000,000.
Lets say sales industry. Profit may be 27.5%. A 15 multiplier (often used for stocks) Would give you a value of $4,050,000.

I say again. There is lots of information about a business that you might know that would make it easier for value the business. For instance, book, rate of return, net, P&L. All of these and more would give you a better idea than gross.
But I did the best I could.

It may be worth zero value or even negative. Unless your company has positive cashflow it has no worth.Sales never define the value of a company.
